| Helping Our House
Reaching our goal of "Lifting kids to a better tomorrow" is possible only with the support of individual donors, corporate partners and the McDonald's family, which carries on the heritage established by Ray Kroc, in whose memory Ronald McDonald House Charities was established.
McDonald's franchises and suppliers are major contributors of time and money on the local level. McDonald's customers contribute millions of dollars worldwide each year by dropping change into donation canisters, supporting fundraisers and organizing other events throughout their communities.
But the need for fundraising goes well beyond McDonald's. On national and local levels, Ronald McDonald House Charities receives strong support from many corporate partners. We also receive support from individual donors, the lifeblood of the organization, who provide needed contributions directed toward Ronald McDonald House and other children's programs.
Ideas For Helping Our House
- Volunteer Your time! The shifts
are in three hour time segments from 9a.m. to 9p.m.
The duties include answering the telephone, registering
families, and just being here to provide a listening
ear. Print and complete the application here or call
the House and ask for a Volunteer
Application to be mailed to you.
- Collect aluminum pop tabs!
These pop tabs are proving to be a tremendous source
of revenue for Ronald McDonald Houses all over the
country. Bring the tabs to the House in a clean container
and we will take them to the recycling center.
- Send a donation in Honor or in
Memory of a Loved One. The Ronald McDonald House
sends acknowledgements both to the donor and individual/family
for whom the tribute/memorial gift was made. The card
specifies the occasion and names the donor but does
not disclose the amount of the gift.
- Fix meals for the families staying
at the House. Call the House to schedule a time
for your church or organization to bring a meal for
the families.
- Name the Ronald McDonald House
in your will.
- Designate the Ronald McDonald House
as the recipient of your United Way Contribution.
