Security -

Every family is given a card to the front door and parking lot and keys to an assigned room and food pantry at check-in. Only those with a card can enter after the office closes.

Do not admit anyone into the house you do not know and do not let anyone in after office hours.

No one is checked in after office hours unless the hospital arranges it with the manager, so if you are still up in the house watching TV or in the kitchen and someone comes to the door wanting a room, DO NOT LET THEM IN! These rules are for your safety and security.

Do not go to the hospital alone at night. Hospital security is glad to escort you at night both to and from the hospital. Their number is 526-2223. If for some reason there is no answer, call your unit and tell the nurse you need a security escort to or from the Ronald McDonald House.

Do not use side or back doors for leaving the House. These doors are alarmed. This and the security cameras throughout the House are also for your security. - Top of Page -
